Growing up along the stunning scenic highway of 30A in Florida, my childhood was adorned with the sights and sounds of the beach. From the tender age of two, I found solace in the sand, the surf, and the sun, living in swimsuits and bare feet. It was a lifestyle ingrained in me from the very beginning, nurtured by my family's love for the ocean. We were true beach babies, spending countless hours soaking up the salty air and basking in the warmth of the Florida sun.

My journey with swimsuits began early on, as I embarked on my first job at the age of 16 at a local swimwear boutique called Ophelia Swimwear. What I initially thought would be a summer gig quickly transformed into a six-year-long love affair with bikinis. From learning the ins and outs of retail to mastering the art of merchandising and inventory management, I became the go-to "bikini girl" in my community.

As I pursued a degree in retail entrepreneurship during college, I harbored a dream in my heart — the dream of one day being my own boss. Post-graduation brought with it uncertainty, but amidst the fear of the unknown, two things remained clear: my desire to work for myself and my passion for bikinis.

And so, Gigi Kini was born.

With a heart full of excitement and a mind brimming with ideas, I embarked on this entrepreneurial journey, driven by my love for swimwear and the desire to create beautiful pieces that women would adore.
